I have to say, I learned SO MUCH through this process and by the end, it really wasn't so bad. I was proud of myself, and that's saying something! I have newfound respect for both the animal and the hunter, and I would definitely try this again.
While I'm still excited about this, I'm kind of tired of talking about it for now. This was my first attempt at an antler mount. Since I lost my job right before the holidays I had to be creative with gifts this year. What do you give the guy who has everything? Why you steal something he shot, of course, and turn it into something beautiful!
